SA pricing for new Suzuki Swift revealed

Suzuki South Africa has revealed pricing for the 2024 edition of the Swift.
There are five different models that will be sold locally.
Each model of 2024 Suzuki Swift features a new-generation Z12E engine that delivers 60kW and 112Nm.

At the Festival of Motoring event held at Kyalami racetrack in August this year, the all-new Suzuki Swift was showcased. The wildly popular small hatchback featured a refreshed design, new engine, and a new CVT option.

Now Suzuki South Africa has revealed the recommended pricing for the 2024 Swift, with five models in the range.

All models in the new Suzuki Swift range are equipped with the brand’s next-generation Z12E engine that delivers 60kW and 112Nm.

“The power from this new and highly refined three-cylinder engine is on a par with that of the previous generation engine, but it offers lower fuel consumption thanks to a new multipoint fuel-injection system, improved thermal management and, of course, the low overall curb weight of as little as 908 kg (model dependent),” explained Suzuki in a release shared with Hypertext.

“The entire new Suzuki Swift range has power steering, digital climate control, a digital information display in the instrument cluster, three-point seatbelts for all five occupants, rear LED tail lamps with a high-mounted LED stop lamp, an immobiliser and alarm, rear parking sensors and electrically adjustable and foldable side mirrors,” it added.

The pricing for the new Suzuki Swift, as of September 2024, is as follows:

Suzuki Swift 1.2 GL Manual – R219 900,
Suzuki Swift 1.2 GL+ Manual – R239 900,
Suzuki Swift 1.2 GL+ CVT – R259 900,
Suzuki Swift 1.2 GLX Manual – R264 900,
Suzuki Swift 1.2 GLX CVT – R284 900.

Suzuki South Africa adds that all models, regardless of their specification level, will be sold with a two-year, 30 000km service plan (with service intervals set at 15 000km), and a promotional warranty of 5-years or 200 000km.
